I've been wanting to do YouTube videos for years.
One of my goals for this month was to start making them it a goal to finally start. I almost punted on it,until ‘next week’.
But I got started by making a video of what I wanted to share in this issue: how to turn one coaching call into enough content for a month.
So that's what I did. Downloaded a coaching call transcript, opened NotebookLM, and in about 10 minutes got multiple:
Email ideas and story angles
TikTok or reel scripts with hooks and visual notes
Infographic concepts
Explainer video ideas
All using my actual voice and real client problems I helped solve.
Here’s the Process
The whole process is pretty simple once you see it.
Step 1: Get Your Transcript Download the transcript from your coaching call. Zoom, Riverside, most video tools let you grab it as a text file.
Step 2: Upload to NotebookLM Go to notebooklm.google.com (free from Google) → Create new notebook → Upload transcript. That's your setup.
Step 3: Pull Out Content
From there, I used different prompts depending on what I wanted to create:
📧 Email Insights "Give me 5 email ideas from this transcript for [your audience]. Include subject line, angle, and client problem."
📖 Stories
"Extract 3 before-and-after stories from this call. Show the problem they had and the realization they made."
📱 Reels or TikToks I took one story and asked: "Turn this into 5 TikTok/reel scripts. Include hook, story beats, and visual notes."
📊 Infographics "Create a prompt for an infographic about [specific insight from call]. Make it portrait/square for Instagram."
🎥 Video Overviews NotebookLM has a feature where you click "Create Video Overview." I chose "Brief" style and "Whiteboard" format. It made a 2-minute explainer video from on insight.
My Take
If you’ve been following along, you know I’ve written a couple issues about how use your coaching / client calls for content (here and here).
I've been using this approach for months now. It helps me create content that leverages what I've already said and done, and keeps me from staring at blank screens.
I'd been focusing more on email content, but this time I showed how you can do it with even more kinds of content.
The thing about this approach that appeals to me: the content sounds like you because it is you. You're not trying to manufacture ideas or write in some "content creator" voice. You're just capturing what you already said when you were actually helping someone.
If you do client work, coaching, consulting, or teaching, you're already creating content every week.
Just start capturing it.
Dig Deeper
(The full prompts I used are in the video description.)
You’re brilliant on calls. Why do your emails sound flat?
I built a system that turns one coaching call into weeks of emails using your actual words. No blank page. No AI slop. Just your real thinking, extracted.
