I have a problem.
On coaching calls, I feel sharp.
Ideas flow. Analogies land. I explain things clearly and help people solve real problems.
Then I sit down to write an email and… nothing.
Or worse: everything feels forced.
Stilted. Too salesy. Not like me.
Sometimes I have too many ideas and can't pick one.
Sometimes I stare at a blank screen for 20 minutes.
And the whole time, I'm thinking: I literally just said all this stuff on a call an hour ago. Why can't I just… use that?
So I built a tool that does exactly that.
It's called the Email Alchemy Wizard.
It pulls insights from my coaching calls, workshop transcripts, or any content I create—and turns them into high-converting emails that sound like me.
Natural, personal, and ready to send.
I built it for myself first.
Now I’ve turned it into a product others can use.
How it works
Step 1: Upload a transcript
I use Otter to record and transcribe my coaching calls.
After a call, I export the transcript and upload it to the Email Alchemy Wizard (built as both a custom GPT and a Poe bot).
Step 2: Tell it who you're writing to
It asks: Who's your ideal client?
I tell it:
Solopreneurs, coaches, freelancers, content creators
People creating tons of content but struggling to turn it into emails
They feel stuck by the blank screen and know better emails = better connections + more revenue
Step 3: Tell it what you're offering
It asks: What do you want people to click on in this email?
I give it one offer. One call to action.
In this case: the Email Alchemy Wizard itself—a $5 custom GPT that turns coaching calls into nearly-ready emails in minutes.
Step 4: It extracts insights
The tool analyzes the transcript and pulls out 12+ insights from the call.
Things like:
"Why simple systems beat complex ones"
"You don't need more tools—you need to master the ones you have"
"Real urgency comes from real constraints, not fake timers"
For example, on a recent call, I told a story about how my childhood home had a wood-burning stove that heated the whole place. Simple. Wood in, heat out.
Then my current furnace broke in the middle of winter, and the repair guy said, "Man, these new furnaces are so complex."
I realized: that's how most solopreneurs build their businesses. Overcomplicated. Fragile.
The Email Alchemy Wizard found that insight and flagged it as a potential email topic.
Step 5: Pick an insight and generate emails
I chose the "wood-burning stove" insight.
The tool wrote three different emails about it:
Story-driven – About a coaching client who was paying for six tools but only needed one
Question-driven – "How many tools are you paying for that you're not actually using?"
Personal revelation – How I give this advice to clients but catch myself doing the same thing
Each email:
✅ Sounded like me
✅ Connected the insight to my offer naturally
✅ Was nearly ready to send with just light editing
Total time: under 10 minutes for three emails.
Step 6: Edit lightly and send
I read through, fix any small details (like making sure it didn't mention a client's name or get a fact wrong), and schedule it.
Done.
Why it works
The Email Alchemy Wizard does three things really well:
1. Captures your best thinking
Your best ideas don't happen at your desk.
They happen on calls. In workshops. In conversations.
This tool grabs those moments so you don't have to recreate them from scratch.
2. Writes high-converting emails in a natural way
It's not just extracting insights—it's writing emails designed to get people to click and buy.
But it does it in your voice, using your words and stories.
3. Repurposes what you already create
You're already doing coaching calls. Running workshops. Recording content.
Why start over every time you write an email?
This turns one piece of content into multiple emails—without the blank-screen struggle.
My Take
I'm way better on calls than I am at a blank page.
On calls, I'm present. Listening. Solving problems in real time.
At my desk? I overthink. I second-guess. I try five different angles and hate all of them.
For a long time, I struggled with turning my natural way of helping live into a natural way helping by email.
But the truth is: I had plenty of good ideas. They were just trapped in my calls.
Once I figured out how to extract it, everything changed.
Now I don't have to "come up with" email ideas.
I already came up with them. On a call. Last Tuesday.
I just need to pull them out and shape them into an email.
And that's exactly what this tool does.
It's not writing for me.
It's helping me use what I've already created.
