Here’s a cool Gemini feature I learned this week from Kim Doyal.
Inside a Gemini Canvas, you can an animated, interactive infographic in minutes.
Not just static images.
Actual HTML infographics with hover effects, animations, and clean branding that can be embedded on your website.
And since her Gemini already knows her brand colors, fonts, and voice from previous conversations, these are created on brand and ready to use.
And once you see your chat as an infographic, you realize that each element of the graphic can become it’s own piece of content.
How To Do It
Here's her workflow:
✅ Uses Gemini Canvas → Two-column view (chat left, workspace right)
✅ Feeds in blog post → Pastes the content she wants to repurpose
✅ Clicks "Create" > "Infographic" → Gemini generates animated HTML infographic
✅ Refines with conversation → "Fix the text cutoff, change rectangles to circles"
✅ Repurposes everywhere → Each stat becomes social posts, email content, quote cards
The key: Don't accept the first draft. Talk to it like an assistant and guide it to what you need.
My Take
I tried this with my last newsletter about creating a master prompt.
Opened Gemini and gave it a simple prompt: "Add this to a canvas: [text of my newsletter]."
Clicked Create > Infographic.
It generated four different sections in about a minute.
Two weren't useful—it tried forcing bar charts and pie charts out of content that wasn't data-driven. Like this bar chart:

But it nailed two summary image on the first try:

Pretty cool
Definitely a feature I’ll be trying out more!
