I’ve been heads down building for the past couple of months. Learned a lot, and I've got plenty to share. So instead of one long weekly newsletter, I’m sending short, use-them-today tips Monday to Friday, plus a wrap on Saturday.

That’s the plan at least.

You’re not a hostage here. If daily isn’t for you, the unsubscribe link is at the bottom.

This is how you get real leverage from AI

I do qualifying calls for a client, and I used to have to download the transcript, upload it to Claude, run a skill to get a brief, download that to my hard drive, and then upload it to Google Drive.

It took me 15 to 20 minutes each time.

Then I set up a workflow to automatically download the transcripts, and a scheduled task in Claude Cowork to run the debrief skill and create the doc in my local drive. It happens without me having to remember, and saves a couple hours a week.

You've got tasks you repeat daily or weekly that eat up your time, bore you to death, and that you can outsource.

Most people keep grinding it out manually, or they ask AI for help but are still copying and pasting, uploading and downloading, so the work waits on them.

The fix isn't a better prompt. It's giving the job a start time: a schedule, not a reminder.

  1. Pick a chore you do regularly, and that numbs your brain to do

Should have the same cadence, same kind of inputs, and same outputs.

  2. Find the Schedule tool in your AI platform

Tell it what you want to do. Where the file lives, what to pull out of it, what "done" looks like, where it lands when it's finished. Plain steps, the way you'd tell a person on day one. If you can't say the steps out loud, it isn't ready to hand off.

  3. Set it to run on a schedule

"Every morning at nine." "Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 6pm." A reminder waits on you to show up. A schedule shows up on its own.

  4. Iterate and make it better

Don't expect this to work perfectly out of the gate. You might need to spend an hour, or two, or even more to get it working right. But that is time invested in earning back your time next week, and the week after, and the week after.

Once that is working, pick another task and do the same thing. Start stacking, and you start winning back hours every week.

What's the one job you'd hand off first? Hit reply and tell me. I read every one.
