Someday I'll learn

It’s Fourth of July.

Independence Day here in the US.

I woke up early and sat outside for a couple hours, enjoying the beautiful day.

Except instead of writing this email I got sucked into a bit of client work.

Which is something I’m working to change - instead of doing work for others’ first, to do work for me first.

Like the concept of paying yourself first, but with time.

I’ll get there.

In the meantime, I’ve got two kids climbing all over me and clamoring for my attention, and we need to head out to get some groceries.
