He was surprised

You're only limited by what you think to ask

It’s 5:15 pm.

I’ve been in calls all day.

I almost let myself not send an email today.

But I’ committed to sending every weekday, and I wanted to share something that was said in passing in one of those calls.

One of my clients has been resistant to sending daily emails and to using AI to help.

For months I’ve been trying to get him to do both.

A while back, I built a custom bot trained on his emails, his voice, and solid direct response principles.

Not a generic AI copywriter. Something with personality and strategy baked in.

I’ve used it to write emails for him that have brought in thousands of dollars.

Finally got him to start using it too.

But the other day, he tried something new.

We’ve been dealing with a low domain reputation (which means going to Promotion and Spam instead of the Inbox).

One of the best ways to improve that is getting replies.

They’re one of the strongest signals to Google, Yahoo, Apple Mail, etc, that your emails matter.

So he went into ChatGPT and asked it to write a sequence that would get people to reply.

He got something he liked.

He’s been sending them.

People are replying.

And today, on a call, he told me he was surprised by how helpful AI actually was.

That’s the takeaway.

You’re only limited by how you think about the tool.

What you ask it.

What you’re willing to try.

Sometimes the answers are sitting there.

You just have to think to ask.
